Sorry it’s taken me so long to say my thanks to you all but the family were with us till yesterday afternoon and after the hall dismantling I really had to sit down!
I just wanted to say that the whole experience with BON APPETIT has been seamless. We felt in good hands right from the start and that continued right until the last bit of clearing up was done.
We have had a lovely response from many guests with lots of compliments about the food. I am amazed that it all appeared as if by magic without me noticing. And although this sounds a bit mundane, I especially appreciated walking out of the hall leaving a huge mess. Thank you so much for the clearing up, it made things so easy for us.
We do hope that you can recover a bit now before your next event and we hope your business continues to thrive. Thank you for all your hard work on our behalf.

Julie, what can I say?? you absolutely nailed it yesterday. From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough, your food, your staff, everything was just unbelievable. Even our pickiest of guests had only incredible things to say about your food, and we even had some say it was the best meal they’ve ever had!!! The burrito bar was an absolute hit, trusting your suggestion on that was one of the best wedding decisions we made, I didn’t get one myself but I’m not kidding everyone has made a point of talking about the burritos when talking about the day as a whole!!!

Julie, I apologise for not messaging sooner. Since Friday my week has been a complete blur. Still not quite caught up with everyone I need to. I genuinely don’t know where to start. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m the most anal perfectionist at the best of times and can imagine I’m a complete pain to even work with because I want the best back for my time and money. When I walked into your kitchen I was amazed to see you working how you were. I stood for a few moments and took the moment in to see you (not the team) flying about pulling the team in to deliver and get them ready. It was only a snapshot of your entire day but I could tell how engrossed you were in making the delivery perfect for our day. The food was amazing. It surpassed what I remembered it would be. It did exactly what I wanted it to do! People couldn’t eat it because they were so full! That sounds mad but I’ve been to so many weddings where it just wasn’t enough. People were telling me how amazing the food was as I circulated every table to talk to our family and friends during our own servings . I spoke to every guest during those 2 hours and every table commented on the food.

My wedding was an incredible day. The day went too quick. Your company pulled it completely out the bag for me and added to the entire day. It was a stress free delivery, my guests loved it. For that I will be forever grateful.

You said this was a big wedding for you. Anyone watching would have thought that big weddings were your bread and butter. You smashed it.

Can you please send me Julie’s number from the floor as well. That women is something special and I’d like to pass on my thanks to her personally. I don’t know where you’ve found her but having Julie running that floor made the food and service the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to plenty of corporate catered events. She’s on a different level.

It’s not very often I cry but leaving rise hall I was in absolute tears. Overwhelmed with emotion. I never believed anyone when they said getting married will be the best day of your life but it was and you were a part of it. Thank you so much Julie! I’ll make sure my path crosses with you very soon so I can say thank you properly to your face with a massive hug. Its the least I can do!

From our first contact with Bon Appetit I knew we’d found the caterers for us.. Julie and Coleen are super friendly, professional and were enormously helpful during the planning stages! They really went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly – Coleen even lent us her daughters microphone when we realised we didn’t have one at last minute!!! How can we thank you enough! We enjoyed the food we tried at our tasting session that much that we couldn’t decide what to choose for our wedding day…So bon appetit enabled us to have a choice for all our guests! Julie and Coleen are incredibly accommodating! All your guests allergies and specific requirements will be covered without you needing to worry in the slightest! On our wedding day the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, honestly so many said how great it was! It was so nice for us to hear! Bon Appetit really are the very BEST! Coleen and the team are absolutely fantastic to work with. We host regular events and the requirements and numbers often change with little notice, but Coleen is always more than willing to accommodate us and ensure our guests will never go hungry. I couldn’t recommend Bon Appetit highly enough for any event – big or small!

Julie, Coleen and the rest of the team provided the most incredible service for our wedding weekend. From the first phone call to the last goodbye at the venue they have been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they went above and beyond what we ever expected.
We learned quickly that this isn’t just a job for these guys. They love what they do and they truly care about delivering on their promises. Delicious food, ultra organised and generally awesome. They catered for my wedding in August and they made the day… I was so impressed.

Julie and her team catered our wedding on the 8th of June. From first contact right through to the big day, Julie, Coleen and the team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble.
The taylor-made buffet was delicious and we’ve heard great comments from our guests too. We had some fairly specific requests (Algarvian carrot conserve anyone?!), and we didn’t make it easy as we wanted a broad variety of delectables but they nailed it! I hear the evening hog roast was scrummy too, though I’m sorry to say I missed out as I was still full from the buffet earlier (so don’t worry about quality or quantity because Bon Appetit does both!).
There were also some really lovely touches that we felt went above and beyond: contacting guests who had food allergies and making plates of food bespoke to them and catering to any other guests who had special requirements. Julie even helped out with providing some last minute additional decorations!
Julie’s experience shines through and she or Coleen will be only a message or a phone call away to offer helpful advice; things your frazzled wed-head may not have remotely considered!
Thank you so much for helping make our day really special, we really can’t recommend Bon Appetit highly enough!

Bon Appetit did our food for our wedding on the 1st of June 2019 and they did an amazing job! I thought it was going to be a nightmare to try and please and feed 80 people but the team at Bon Appetit made it seem simple. From our first meeting they took away all the stress and helped us choose a menu we were happy with. They were easily contactable and helpful throughout and even dealt with a last minute change happily! The food on the day was presented beautifully and was delicious. I don’t even know how to begin to thank Bon Apetit for the amazing service we received right from the point of first contact. Firstly our taster menu was amazing. Julie put so much effort into making it special for us, we knew straight away they were the right choice for us. Contact with Coleen throughout was so friendly, helpful and personable and nothing was too much trouble. All our guests commented about how amazing the food was and it was all carried out so perfectly and discreetly I didn’t even get to chance to thank them. Bon Appetit catered our wedding in September. The food and service they provided was amazing! Julie, Coleen and the team were fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble. Bon Appetit catered our wedding at Cleatham Hall last Saturday, the whole team had been lovely from the very start of our wedding planning, Coleen and Julie were so helpful and they really care about what types of food you love and all your guests needs, they made such an effort to cater to our individual taste and for our vegan, vegetarian and gluten intolerant guests, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was actually a breeze to plan no stress at all they make you feel so relaxed! On the day everything went perfectly, Julie was incredible and really took care of everyone, she received so many compliments from guests who were so impressed with her. We had Salmon fillet or Daube of Beef for mains and I have to say it was the best beef I have ever had, all our guests agreed that the meal was fantastic, no one could get over how amazing everything tasted we are still talking about it now. Coleen made sure everyone had plenty to eat throughout the day with lots of delicious canapés (especially the mini Yorkshire puddings were to die for) and there was plenty of evening food, Julie made sure I had my favorite pulled pork bap left over for me when every body left which was the best idea ever! Highly recommend to everyone! 5*

Bon Appetit catered our wedding on 31.08.18 and the food was amazing. Everyone said how delicious it was and someone said it was better than cruise ship food (they rate cruise ship food as some of the best).
Nothing was too much trouble and the staff all seemed lovely and did a fab job.

We had Julie cater our wedding 18th August 2018, hands down the best food I have ever tasted!!
When I told guests we were having pork as our main meal at our wedding breakfast we had mixed reviews, but absolutely everyone LOVED it.. I am still getting messages from guests telling me how much they loved it.
Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was great.
It felt lovely knowing that of all the things you worry about as a bride in the run up to your day , food was never on that list because I knew we were in expert hands.

We booked Bon Appetit for our wedding breakfast at Rise Hall on 28/07/18. We looked at many caterers before our wedding and what we loved about this caterer was that they designed a packaged for our needs. We only wanted 2 courses and canapés on arrival. They catered to our needs and what we wanted rather than us having to choose a package and have things we didn’t want! We went for our taster session atJulie’s house. It was so relaxed and she gave us lots of options to choose from.
Nearer the time one of our guests dietary requirements had changed, this was not a problem for them and they catered to her specific needs. Coleen was always at the end of an email and always responded swiftly. Also a few weeks before, we discussed having ice cream at the drinks reception as it was super hot. Again this was not a problem and they sorted this for us with no stress.
On the day everything was perfect, all our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how much you got!
Thanks Julie and her team for a perfect meal. I would definitely recommend to other people.

Bon Appetit catered for us on our Wedding Day 30/6/18. The food was exceptional. The guests were all coming up to us saying how fantastic it was and more importantly had their fill. So many times at events such as this there just isn’t enough. Not the case with Bon Appetit. They even plated some up for the photographer and bar staff which was above and beyond. Julie (front of house) was so nice and even came to find us before leaving to wish us all the best. She couldn’t have been nicer.
The buffet also was spectacular and so different from the norm.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Bon Appetit team. They destressed everything, contacted personally before the wedding all guests with personal requirements ( really nice touch) and served excellent food. From start to finish they were a pleasure to deal with and we wish them every success in the future.

Bon appetit catered for us on our wedding day at cleatham hall on the 9th of June. The food was absolutely amazing and we had so many comments on how beautiful it was especially the scotch egg!! The catering team were superb on the day and made sure the service was efficient and attentive to all our guests. Bon appetit were the caterers for our wedding at cleatham Hall on the 18th May. They did such an amazing job from the start. The food was lovely and so tasty, our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly raving about the beef!
It was made so personal with canapé boards for our GF & Vegan guests, we definitely didn’t expect that. A lovely touch to make sure no one was left out and everybody catered for.
All our guests were served the correct food and the waiter/waitressing staff were so quick, efficient and slick with their delivery of the food.
Coleen and Julie were fantastic and we were given the opportunity to attend Julie’s House for a tasting which turned out to be a full 3 course meal!

Then when it came to the big day you were all fantastic! The canapés were delicious, not that I had chance to try any as i was doing photos but to my delight they had left some aside for us to try before our wedding breakfast.
The wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious! All the guests commented on how nice the food was and couldn’t believe that they had catered for so many people in a catering tent and for it to taste so good. The beef was to die for. Was as if we were in a fine restaurant!
When it came to the evening food(gourmet burgers/chips) again we didn’t get chance to try them but again like the canapés they had put some aside for us. It’s little touches like this which really made the difference!

Thank you very much for all your hard work. The catering was spot on, the food was delicious and very well presented. Me and my husband chose Bon Appetit to do the catering for our wedding on Saturday 19th March 2016. From our first meeting with Julie and Charlene we felt at ease and knew we had made the right decision. Julie listened to exactly what we liked and didn’t like send tailored our taster session to this! Throughout the process Julie and Charlene kept us informed of everything that we needed to do and we’re genuinely interested in us as people.
On the actual wedding day the food was AMAZING and everyone was so impressed. Julie went the extra mile in serving our wedding cake (made by us) even though it gave her a bit of grief. She served it with chocolate dipped strawberries and made homemade truffles to go with tea and coffee. I can’t thank them enough for being part of our day and helping make it the best day of our lives.

We had our wedding at the beautiful Cleatham Hall on Friday the food you provided was all excellent the service the presentation and of course the taste! Thank you to all your staff for helping making our special day extra special!

Bon Appetit catered for our wedding in August this year. We had over 160 daytime guests and in excess of 200 in the evening and how Julie and her team produced such delicious food for this volume of people is beyond us!
We had canapés, followed by a hot buffet (lasagne, curry & the like) & then an afternoon tea style for dessert. Every plate was cleared and our only regret is that we were too busy talking to our guests to have seconds!
Evening food was bacon & sausage buns & chips! Our guests were clearing the trays of food before the lovely waitress serving them could blink & Julie was doing a grand job behind the scenes!
Julie is not only an excellent chef but also a love lady who somehow manages to combine sheer professionalism with warmth and integrity! Thank you again for making our day so special! xx

Hi Julie, I would just like to thank you and your team for an amazing day. The quality of the food was excellent, not the usual over processed Christmas dinner some venues turn out. The food was so tasty you could tell it was all fresh and home cooked. Many of our guests commented how well presented and tasty the meal was, and one of our more hard to please guests stated that the sausage sandwich from the evening buffet “was the best he’d ever had”. The whole process from booking your catering company, to the actual day was stress free according to my daughter and her husband. I would highly recommend your services to anybody.

I second Janine’s recommendation. They were fabulous. Worked extremely hard and were attentive to all our visitors throughout the entire day. Our stand was constantly busy so Julie and her team didn’t stop at all. The food was really REALLY good. Wouldn’t hesitate using them again. If we have any events that way again suggest we use them.

I know I didn’t see you at my wedding on Saturday, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you!!! Your food and staff were all fantastic! The honey toast hot dogs were just as tasty as I imagined, the peach bubbly was divine and the food was fantastic!
I have had great comments about the food – I think the sharing starter worked very well, the pudding table was great and the mother-in-law couldn’t stop talking about the peach cheesecake!
I hope you collected lots of empty plates !! I gather you must have did from the comments! Everything ran on time and was beautifully warm!
